| Comments (0)

What a FUN idea I've found over at Red Oak Hollow blog! (...It's highly creative, too.)

I'm sharing it here for fellow homebuilders who would like to surprise their loved one with a very "special" gift (read: *something for the house*) on a very special day.

See how to package your special gift... in a way that only a devoted homebuilder who loves you dearly could appreciate!

Daisy Mae writes in her blog:

To a women, a present that comes in a fine little velvet box means only one thing...BLING! My husband's gift was beautifully wrapped and when the I open the red velvet box, I thought... too big for a ring... too rectangular for a necklace... just right for a....

And what did she find when she opened the red velvet box???

My bling is a pro series faucet for the island prep sink. He says I am going to love it. It cost more than most gold bracelets and twice as much as we should be paying for a faucet. I really love the gift and his thought behind it. I will always keep it as a fond memory of my funny hubby. -- Daisy Mae

Daisy Mae, I'm with you! I would Soooo appreciate a gift like this. And the red velvet box only made it that much more special.

Thanks for sharing!

We'll be watching your blog to see how your homebuilding turns out. We're a few months behind you, and should break ground on our new log home in May or June '07.
