Optional 1/2-Day Seminar

One cool feature to this particular log home show is the fact that they offer an optional 6-hour seminar in a classroom environment.

If you plan to attend the seminar, it costs $75 (individual) or $99 (couple) and includes admission to all three days of the show.

For the Nashville show, the seminar date is:

Saturday, February 17

9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

What it's like:
An unbiased speaker presents the "Six Steps to Your Dream Home" to an audience of 100- 300 who have preregistered for the seminar.

Highlights:
Step 1: Budget decisions
Step 2: Site decisions
Step 3: Design decisions
Step 4: Deciding on a log home company
Step 5: Deciding on a lender
Step 6: Deciding on a builder

In sum, you'll be meeting one-on-one with professionals in your own area. You'll learn how to create a realistic budget, design a log home to fit your lifestyle, evaluate log home companies, avoid costly mistakes, and prioritize your budget.

If you're fairly early in the log home building process -- or still trying to decide whether a log home is right for you and your family -- then the Log & Timber Home Seminar would be right up your alley!

UPDATE: Word is... the 2007 Nashville Log & Timber Home Seminar is now sold out. But that's okay... you'll have plenty to see & do at your own pace during the entire 3-day event!
