Tennessee Lake Property For Sale

| Comments (0)

i-cant-believe-we-are-selling-this-property.jpgWe've decided to put our property on Dale Hollow Lake up for sale.

Why? Because we'd like to buy an RV.

And since things are moving along so nicely toward building our log home here in Williamson County Tennessee, holding onto the Dale Hollow Lake property would purely be a luxury at this point.

We view this lake property as a place that we would eventually (a long time from now) like to build a "vacation home" -- our log cabin on the lake -- but we'd rather do some serious RVing before then. So it seems most practical to sell the lake property and just go from there.

So, if you're looking for land in Tennessee -- particularly a lake lot -- it doesn't get much better than Dale Hollow Lake.

Here are the details...

Our Property On Dale Hollow Lake

Lot 22C in Swan Ridge Lake Resort (500 acres of land with 300 homes projected, many of them log homes).

1.65 acres with an excellent view of the lake.

The property runs right up to the Army Corps of Engineers' thickly forested boundary which surrounds the lake on all sides. (You can walk to the lake directly from the property, as long as you wear hiking shoes!)

Our property has one of the largest "building envelopes" in the entire Swan Ridge development!

It has a nice, gentle slope to it -- perfect for building a larger home, with an incredible lake view from your backyard and lots of green grass surrounding you.

Situated on a quiet road with only 5-8 home sites, rather than on a busy main road. (A few lots on this road are incredibly steep and very tiny... so they will probably be sold as part of a 2-lot package price, or remain vacant for some time.)

Asking price for this quiet little piece of paradise: $149,000.

Fun Things Nearby

As a welcome gift to those of us who purchased land at Swan Ridge, Doug Smith (who owns Swan Ridge Lake Resort and the nearby Mitchell Creek Marina -- as well as Barky Beaver Mulch & Playgrounds and Honest Abe Log Homes) extended the offer of a boat slip at Mitchell Creek Marina for half-price the first year. I don't know if that offer is still available, but there might be other discounts & specials offered to the property owners at Swan Ridge.swan-ridge-entrance-stonework.jpg

For the record, Doug has done major renovations on the Mitchell Creek Marina. We almost didn't even recognize it the last time we visited! It's a wonderful place to keep your boat.
