One-Room Log Cabins Are Cozy, Cheap, And Environmentally Friendly

log-cabin-photo-by-anoldent.jpg Have you ever thought of building a one-room log cabin?

If that sounds a bit small for your taste, think of it this way:

A one-room log cabin can get you close to Mother Nature.

Some Of The Great Things About Living In A One-Room Cabin:

  • Efficiency
  • Reduction of your environmental impact
  • Ease of maintenance
  • Inexpensive construction costs
  • Minimalist lifestyle
  • Residence in the woods or other scenic surroundings
  • Housing can be built on a very small plot of land

You see? Building a one-room log home has many potentially wonderful, cost-cutting, personally rewarding, and fun benefits!

But how do you build a one-room log cabin?

It really is quite simple and inexpensive. In fact, you can build your own log cabin with a simple set of plans involving a 10’x12′ footprint and a dirt floor. A log cabin like that allows you get to close to nature (and it’s perfect for camping, too).

My love for coins and numismatics began when I was 11 years old. I primarily collect and study U.S. coins produced during the 20th century. I'm a member of both the American Numismatic Association (ANA) and the Numismatic Literary Guild (NLG). I've also been studying meteorology and watching weather patterns for years. I enjoy sharing little-known facts and fun stuff about coins, weather, travel, health, food, and living green.

Never gonna afford it. All the rich ppl ruined the prices of cabins by building god dam luxury shit in the woods.Ppl like me will NEVER be able to have a pice of land with a small cabin ever.I am disabled and can’t build anything myself now. It is sad that ppl like us are lost yet again in the system of shit called America. I only wish the rich would contract EBOLA. Then maybe the country would be nice and cheap and friendly again. Goddam almighty dollar. Jesus. 6 months and i still have no where to live. Thanks to the douchebags of America.
