We are going to start our search for lake property at Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley -- the northern part of Middle Tennessee, near the Kentucky/Tennessee border.
Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkely came to my mind right away...
I'd always gotten a good feeling when driving through Paris, TN (whenever we were out near Land Between The Lakes 4-wheeling).
The water there is big, DEEP water! That makes it exciting to think of all the places you can go -- via boat -- and all of the water activities that you can enjoy on Kentucky Lake or Lake Barkley.
So, that's where we're headed this weekend (tomorrow).
We have a list of "potentials"... but we really don't have any idea what to expect, as far as lake homes anyway.
Most of the lots we've found are in or near Dover, TN and Bumpus Mills, TN. These are in Stewart County, Tennessee.
We're looking forward to the trip...
