Here’s a great way to incorporate a secondary dog house into your primary living space.
This dog crate is disguised as a functional piece of furniture…
And it’s an attractive one at that!
Granted, this probably isn’t going to serve as your dog’s main dog house…
It’s not meant to be.
It’s just an alternative way to keep your dog inside the home with you.
The best part: It enables you to keep an eye on your dog — and your dog to keep an eye on you — while you go about your daily life.
A crate like this would work well placed in a central location inside the home — where your dog can view what’s going on at all times.
How This Crate Could Save The Day
A combo dog house & table like this isn’t only practical… it could also be a lifesaver in a number of ways:
Say, when you have company and your guests aren’t crazy about dogs…
Or, when the doorbell rings, and you want to make sure your dog doesn’t run out the door when you’re dealing with the visitor at your door…
Or just as a fun place for your dog to hang out when everyone’s in the family room watching TV.

Personally, I would only recommend this particular piece of furniture for dogs that don’t mind being kept inside a crate. I only say that because a dog who isn’t comfortable inside a kennel or crate is likely to get overly excited or anxious — to the point that he will jostle the crate a bit. In that case, whatever you have “on display” on the tabletop portion could take a tumble.
